Our desire in the Northeast Region of PastorCare is to proceed as Father directs. He is so good at networking His sons and daughters into relationship in His time, toward His purposes of individual and corporate Kingdom expansion for the ultimate glory of Jesus!
We are amazed each week as connections arise that could only be directed by our Father who loves us so much that He arranges for His children to walk their road shoulder to shoulder for a season, usually the strength of one embracing the struggle of another with truckloads of grace. The boldness necessary for this venture varies in intensity each day. Today we may be focused and energetic; yesterday may have brought question, angst and blurred hopefulness. Tomorrow may find us opening the mail to discover a note of encouragement and promise of intercession or much needed financial support! The phone will ring and a desperate pastor or spouse will begin to spill a tangled story of depression, anger or abuse at the hands of the Church. All of these experiences together accentuate the truth that this ministry of care is bigger than us... yet not bigger than God! He is not asking that we do this alone; in fact, He is requiring our dependence on Him.

Humankinds’ desire for independence from God has laid the foundation of waywardness since Eden. We suspect that we won’t get this PastorCare ministry entirely right even as we daily depend on Him and will thus need His loving correction along the way (history has a track record). BUT as together we painfully and joyfully rely on Father’s “next”, we are certain of His blessing in the development of this grace-filled mission toward hurting pastors and their families as well as hurting churches (abuse works both ways). HE HAS PROMISED A FUTURE AND A HOPE!
