Our Regional and Lead Director

Dr. Allen Tyndall takes seriously John Wesley’s statement, “God will do nothing on earth except in answer to believing prayer.” As a result he now has a passion for prayer and discipleship.

His call to ministry came at the age of 17. After graduating from college, he wasn’t sure that he could pastor a church so he began teaching school, which continued for 17 years in various roles including being a HS principal, a county assistant superintendent of schools, and work with the VA Department of Education.

When God revived his call he enrolled in seminary. After graduating he was ordained and took pastoral assignments in Marietta, Ohio, Shenandoah, VA, and two in Kannapolis, NC, where he still resides. As a result of serving in the pastorate he experienced the negative side of ministry being asked to leave a church after serving 7 years. This experience led him to discover the ministry of PastorCare Network in its early years. After receiving a new love for the Lord through this ministry, he discovered a compassion for pastors and began to help them whenever he could.

He is President of New Gate Ministries, Inc. and is actively involved in the prayer ministry of his local church. Through this ministry he actively teaches the Bible and conducts prayer workshops through online courses, continuing education opportunities for teachers, conferences and church opportunities. He values the opportunity to teach and to challenge students to engage in the discovery process and application of learning who God is and how He loves us. He takes pleasure in the discipline of studying and praying.

Allen and his wife, Doris, have been married for 50 years. They have 4 children and 9 grandchildren.
